Sisterhood

The Havurat Shalom Sisterhood is a vibrant and active group of
interesting and intelligent women who share a love of learning,
comradery, and fun. We enjoy “field trips” to art museums, sculpture
gardens, international film festivals, plays, and enjoy meals at ethic
restaurants. We have interesting and thought-provoking book and movie
review discussions at member’s homes, and always have food! We share
our talents and interests with the group, sometimes hosting a yoga class,
a baking class, singing, or another activity that is of interest to the sisters.
We are a hierarchy-free, no hassle, full participatory sisterhood. Each
month, one member takes responsibility for the event for that month,
thereby ensuring that there is a variety of activities offered during the
year. One month, however, is reserved for our annual Brunch with our
beloved Rabbi Karen.

We have made close and meaningful friendships over the years, and have
supported one another during good times and not so good times

We welcome new members and sincerely hope that you will join us. You can join here .
